Sonny Wong is a Humboldt County based artist. Most known for his cover art for Savage Henry Magazine, Sonny illustrated the first 101 issues of the magazine. Although most known for his illustrations, Sonny's real artistic passion is painting. You can often find Sonny posted up in the remote corners of Humboldt County plein air painting. Sonny's style is influenced by years of graffiti art mixed with his interest in Japanese printmaking and anime. Sonny lives in Fortuna, California with his wife and 4 teenage children, two cats and one wolf. When Sonny isn't up late drawing or painting, he is often out exploring the wilderness and backpacking through vast mountain trails of Northern California.
